Reflections of a coastal stakeholder
When did I become a stakeholder, as the government likes
to
call us, in ocean policy? For some reason, I lost sleep
the
other night contemplating a new wave of state and federal
initiatives designed to protect our watersheds, coastlines
and ocean resources. I'm not a marine biologist, deep-sea
fisherman, or even a surfer, but my bond with the ocean

when the first calf raced out of the chute destined for
a new grass-fed cattle initiative. Jochim, project manager
