Arctic Wildlife

Polar bears, reindeer, arctic fox, fin whales, and walrus were among the amazing wildlife that Anne was privileged to see in Svalbard, Norway. Ten days on a Russian ice-breaker, converted to an 80-passenger ship, took her within 500 miles of the North Pole. This spectacular landscape is harsh and rugged, yet fragile and delicate at the same time.
